New Carbonas Record: First Two Songs
As most of you already know, Goner Records has just released the 3rd Carbonas LP. I'm not going to bother giving this a full review. But I will say this... If you're familiar with this Atlanta band you're already into their brand of punk-edged power pop. However, this time around it seems the band has cleaned the sound up a bit. Not in a shitty "we're trying to make it" kind of way, but like a "we're playing our shit tight as hell and have have gotten our sound exactly where it needs to be" way.
The band has basically never sounded better and this 9 song Goner record is sure to become a classic. Especially if you take into account that the 'special' version of this record is already going for mucho cash on Ebay. Which I know you wouldn't do... because that's dumb.
In short. Record: Good. You: Buy.
