St. Patricks Day sucks... the Pogues do not!
It's that time of year again. Stupid people EVERYWHERE celebrate their (false) Irish heritage by downing Guinness, Jameson and cheap lagers tainted green while making even bigger asses of themselves. Yay.
For the past few years I'd been treated to seeing the Pogues tear though some of my favourite Irish-esque classics, but with my being out of town during their yearly visit, I'm limited to pulling out the records and humming along with them.
So I ask you all to join me in my St Paddys routine of throwing on the first Pogues LP... because SJ Rum and Anti-Freeze sounds like a really bad idea.
