The Only Ones - 'Special View'

So after the Submarine Races post I got to thinking about The Only Ones. Ian from SubRaces' voice reminds me a lot of the Only Ones frontman Peter Perret and both bands kinda borrow from 60's psychedelic stuff.

Regardless of any influence they may have had on anyone, the first two albums should be staples amongst any music collection.

'Special View' combines select tracks from the aforementioned first LPs and also features both sides of the bands first single ('Lovers Of Today / Peter And the Pets'), which is one of the best to come out it 77'... and that's saying A LOT.

Below is the drugged out anti-smack song "Beast", the first single and the wildly famous "Another Girl, Another Planet." The last one doesn't really sound like SR at all... but it's a god damn classic!
